A true story about a cat named Bernard who is rescued from Kuwait where dogs and cats often roam free or are sold as entertaining objects at the “Friday Market.”

Thanks to the efforts of a humane organization, Bernard is brought from Kuwait to America and to the safe and loving home of his forever family. This story describes Bernard’s experience from his point of view.

Bernard is one brave and lucky cat!

Grass-roots organizations and many Kuwaitis are working to change these attitudes and also send as many needy “pets” as they can to America to find homes.
